Thank you.Shame the weather was so bad yesterday morning.Luckily the rain stopped long enough to be able to film but if you look at the end you can see the next band of rain crossing the harbour.Just looked at marinetraffic and saw the galleon is heading for gravesend.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV Thanks. Yes - it looks like the summer weather is over for another year! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to Tilbury today but hopefully I might be able to film it when it sails up to London. I think it is sailing under Tower Bridge on one of the days.

@arnoldspottingvideos5269 I did think about filming at Tilbury while I was down there in 2022 but don't know how busy the freight is there.

The footbridge is still fenced off but I talked to a couple walking their dogs who use the bridge daily so I followed and filmed.Didnt know "platinum jubilee" was around so that was a bonus.Will go back to using normal camera next vid.

It was that morning due to earlier signalling problems so most of these are late freight leaving the Port.

There was signal faults between Ipswich and Felixstowe this morning which meant alot of freight was late leaving.Think the only on time freight was after 10am.Passenger trains cancelled before 9am as well.

66769 was 2hrs 30mins late.Should have gone through westerfield at 06:03am.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV According to the PLA web site, the next Viking Venus cruise from Tilbury starts from the docks rather than the landing stage. I have never known the cruise to start from Tilbury Docks before!

Thank you.There were signalling problems between Ipswich and felixstowe (didnt know until i got there and heard the speaker voice) so passenger trains were cancelled and the freight was late (some were 2 and a half hours late) leaving felixstowe.Think it was sorted by 9am so was starting to get back to normal.

Thank you.There are 9berths at Felixstowe but berths 1-4 don't have cranes so get used by tankers or ships that have cranes on board.

I've read that the replica Spanish gallion will be at gravesend and open to the public from September 11th so that could be interesting to film when she comes in.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV Is that Galeon Andalucia? I didn't know it was visiting Gravesend but it is open to visitors at the end of Southend Pier from 22nd August to 27th August (you can see details on the Southend Pier website). St Katharine Docks marina also put out a tweet on 11th July to say that it will be up there between 23rd and 30th September so perhaps it is staying at Gravesend on the way up to London.

@ThamesShips from what I read yesterday its at gravesend 11th - 22nd sept but no idea on when it's arriving.

Most of the time the sails are down so was nice to see her with them up.

Likewise I don't think I've seen one with faroe Islands or if I have its been a long time.4winds was along side the old navy yard berths.

Yes, I believe Madeline is new to the port. Usually I'm at Harwich twice a week and have yet to see the new vessel..

Thank you.I was told that svitzer madeleine was going to replace either Shotley or sky but Felixstowe realised that with bigger ships they should have 5 tugs on standby.She has been around a couple of weeks but this was first time I've seen her.

Doesn't look much like a RoRo but that's what marinetraffic and the other sites have her classed as.

I started filming the rdj waalstroom but then aasfoss was not far behind so focused on her instead.

Thank you.Neither had I seen a trulsen ship before (at least I dint think I have). I believe on Friday there is a cruise ship SEABOURN SOJOURN going to the outer harbour at Great Yarmouth.Might go up but not sure.
